ZoomNotes is a comprehensive visual note-taking app that offers a range of features for users to create handwritten notes and sketches on various platforms. Whether it's virtual paper, WhiteBoards, PDF files, images, or MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents (via GoogleDrive), ZoomNotes covers it all. Additionally, users can sync their documents between their iPad and iPhone using iCloud.

One of the standout features of ZoomNotes is its compatibility with any capacitive stylus pen, including the popular Apple Pencil. This allows users to have a smooth and precise writing experience.

The app offers eight pen types to choose from, including gel, nib, pencil, and watercolor, each with unlimited line thicknesses. This variety ensures that users can find the perfect pen for their needs.

The split-screen feature allows users to edit and view two documents side by side or have two views of the same document. This multitasking capability enhances productivity.

ZoomNotes also offers the option to link calendar events and reminders to specific documents, with the URL in the event linking back to the document in ZoomNotes.

The app boasts a large zoom range, allowing users to zoom in and out without arbitrary limits, even for rotated views. Additionally, there is a whiteboard mode for more versatile note-taking.

Layers provide control over what is visible on a page, including options for "master layers" that appear on all pages.

Users can import PDF files and write over them, as well as Microsoft Office files like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (via GoogleDrive).

ZoomNotes offers unlimited paper sizes and styles, allowing users to customize their page to their preferences. There are configurable paper types to choose from as well.

Within ZoomNotes, users have full editing capabilities. Objects can be selected, scaled, rotated, shifted, and flipped. Cut, copy, and paste functions are available for use between documents, pages, and other apps.

The app includes regular shapes and arrows that can be drawn using the polygon tool or rough hand-drawn for automatic conversion into exact geometric shapes. This feature is ideal for visual mapping purposes.

There is a symbol library that users can fully configure with their preferred shapes and images for easy reuse.

ZoomNotes allows users to insert images at any size and scale within their documents. Additionally, editing features like cropping, masking, resizing, adjusting transparency, scan-correction, and image deformation are available. Users can also insert images and videos directly from their camera or photo library.

Typed text can be entered via keyboard with a wide range of font options including size, color, fill, and border. Text can be entered and manipulated at any zoom scale.

The app includes a feature for recording and playing back sounds, including the ability to import and export mp3 files. Users can even insert sound recordings directly onto the relevant page.

ZoomNotes offers multiple options for sharing documents, including PDF files, images, videos, or ZoomNotes documents. Sharing can be done via email, iTunes, clipboard, Dropbox, Twitter, Evernote, Airdrop, iCloud Drive, and Open in.

The app is compatible with VGA for use with projectors, monitors, and AirPlay, making it suitable for presentations.

Another unique feature is the magnification window that allows users to write into a zoomed-in view while still having visibility of the zoomed-out view. This feature enhances precision when working on detailed tasks.
